BEHIND THE SCENES - UK - THE HOUSEHOLD CAVALRY

On the 29th April 2011 over 200 horses and soldiers of the Household Cavalry Mounted Regiment played a leading role in the ceremonial procession for the marriage of Their Royal Highnesses The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge. This series of photographs capture a unique behind the scenes view, as the Regiment undertook their week long preparation for this historic event.

A number of these photographs were published in ‘Uniquely British: A year in the life of the Household Cavalry’ (Published 2012 by Tricorn Books). Proceeds from the sale of the book were used to fund the launch of the Household Cavalry Foundation.
